Location

The experience of Fažana as a fishing town is most prominent at the small port, at the waterfront where the stories about fishing skills and fishermen's luck unravel next to the boats and nets. A walk to the small fishing museum, the Fažana fish market, view of Brijuni from the beautiful promenade, a break on the terrace of a restaurant or on a bench talking to the waves...all create images that will surely be remembered. A visit to the parish church of St. Cosmas and Damian and the Romanesque church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with a characteristic "lopica" (arched entrance area) is an opportunity to discover the local art.

Brijuni National Park is an oasis of magnificent harmony between man, flora and fauna. On Brijuni there are almost 700 varieties of plants, 250 species of birds, while the mild Mediterranean climate makes Brijuni a pleasant and medicinal place. After leaving Fažana, watching from the deck, the line of green islands transforms into Veliki Brijun, the largest of the 14 islands.
